Village of the Sun by Rashid Johnson

Artaic’s second collaboration with artist Rashid Johnson, Village of the Sun was created for Qatar Museums and installed in the Old Palace Gardens in Doha.

Building on the style of our first project together, Broken Pavilion, this mosaic translates Johnson’s expressive linework and iconic symbols into tile using our proprietary robotic fabrication process.
