Modern Execution and Traditional Design Coverage
Artaic has unveiled The Verge Collection – a new line that offers a modern interpretation of traditional geometric patterns found in woven, beaded and block-printed textiles.
The collection’s title, “Verge” is inspired by this convergence of modern execution and traditional design. Its designs comprise fully customizable “field and feature tile” pairing solutions that will create a consistent, cohesive aesthetic.
The series shows the broad spread of Artaic’s manufacturing capabilities, offering both mural-like feature designs and simplistic field designs, often with three or fewer colors. The collection encourages “field and feature” pairings in the home, hospitality, education, and commercial spaces, where complex mosaics can coexist with a simple design to co-ordinate style and color flawlessly.
“Glazed Porcelain has a fantastic durability that allows for a variety of tile sizes, design complexities, and application type” says Ted Acworth, CEO and founder of Artaic. “In focusing one collection on Glazed Porcelain we are able to expand our offerings – giving clients an avenue to seamlessly match walls to floors, pool lining to pool decking, etc.
“For the Verge Collection, with the versatility of Glazed Porcelain in mind, we created a full range of stunning designs – from the abstract to the exact, in 130 colors.”
The Verge Collection is available in Amethyst, Canyon, Shibori, Desert, Eclipse, and Glacier colorways, with endless custom options available. The collection boasts less than five percent water absorption, alongside a host of other technical properties such as chemical attack resistance, frost resistance, thermal shock resistance, glaze abrasion resistance, stain resistance and glaze cracking resistance.
Artaic’s Glazed Porcelain tile can be specified for commercial and residential applications with tiles offered in 1in, 1x2in, 2in, 2x4in, 3in, and 4in sizes.
