Traditional Textiles Inspire Tile Line
Artaic has launched The Verge Collection, which features patterns inspired by traditional textiles. Inspired by the properties of its tile line, Glazed Porcelain, the collection can be custom fit to any wall, floor, ceiling, pool, or exterior facade.
The Verge Collection is an interpretation of traditional geometric patterns found in woven, beaded, and block-printed textiles. The collection title, Verge, is inspired by this convergence of modern execution and traditional design. Verge offers customizable field & feature tile pairing solutions that will give design projects a cohesive aesthetic. The Glazed Porcelain featured in this collection is available in both a glossy and matte finish.
The series represents a range of Artaic’s manufacturing capabilities, offering both mural-like (feature) designs and simplistic (field) designs, often with three or fewer colors, to complement one another in adjacent applications or in spaces throughout a project. The collection encourages field and feature pairings in hospitality, healthcare, education, and commercial spaces, where complex mosaics can coexist with a simple design to coordinate style and color. Artaic will be offering approximately 24 designs with this collection, each with a field and feature counterpart.
The Verge Collection is available in Amethyst, Canyon, Shibori, Desert Eclipse, and Glacier colorways, with custom options available. The collection boasts less than five percent water absorption with other technical properties that include chemical attack resistance, frost resistance, thermal shock resistance, glaze abrasion resistance, stain resistance and glaze cracking resistance.
Artaic’s glazed porcelain tile can be specified for commercial and residential applications with tiles offered in 1-inch, 1- by 2-inch, 1- by 3-inch, 2-inch, 2- by 4-inch, 3-inch and 4-inch sizes.
