Artaic Launches Revolutionary Mosaic Manufacturing Robot, Apollo
Artaic has launched “Apollo,” the sixth generation of their mosaic manufacturing robot. Apollo offers significant production capacity, faster throughput, and more accurate placement of a wider variety of tile types. It can process virtually any tile material, finish, and size, and is four times faster than its predecessor. The robot’s development addresses challenges in tile feeding and sorting, enabling efficient handling of complex designs. Apollo also represents a major advancement in Artaic’s ability to maintain domestic manufacturing, allowing for quicker response to customer needs and lower costs. The robot is named after Artemis’s twin brother in Greek mythology, symbolizing speed and precision. Artaic partnered with BOLD Laser Automation CEO and received support from Massachusetts Technology Collaborative and tile suppliers for Apollo’s development.
