Artaic is Fully Operational
BOSTON, MA — Artaic founder and CEO, Ted Acworth, released this statement yesterday in response to the growing concerns of COVID-19:
“Artaic is fully operational. Times of crisis leads to innovation. We got this”. Artaic has our business continuity plan in place. In an attempt to help flatten the curve, all employees who are able to perform their duties remotely are operating on full power at home. However, we are a manufacturing operation at our core, and our operation requires people who can use specialized tools and equipment. Our production employees are continuing their commitment to produce your renderings, samples, and beautiful mosaics. To maintain the safety of all our employees, we have moved some of our technology into homes, and are running lighter shifts in the manufacturing area, with appropriate social spacing and sanitizing procedures.
If you are not able to access your material libraries, we are happy to send digital boards and presentations or physical samples to your home to keep projects moving.
While at this time we are not forecasting any major delays, our turnaround time on sampling may experience some minor delays. Shipping, of course, is something we simply can’t control. That includes global sea and air shipping that carries our inventory, and domestic outbound shipping from Boston. We simply ask for your patience and understanding as our operations team works very closely with all our major shipping suppliers to keep on top of your projects, troubleshoot through any delays, find alternate sourcing where required, and achieve the most effective and efficient solutions.
