Artist Feature: Sandie Turchyn
Calming and Meditative art has been and still is a way of self-connection through a spiritual journey, in which Sandie Turchyn, Artaic’s second Artist Feature of the month, showcases her artwork to do just that.
Sandie strives to implement playful storytelling in her artwork with floral and animal themes using watercolors. Watercolor painting is a transparent medium that an artist can apply their creative thoughts from spontaneity and self-expression in voice.
With her passion for watercolor, Sandie sketched a “delicate bouquet” as it’s called with serene vibes from the calming palette. This botanical theme captures the dreamy mystique that the mural itself emit in a comfy space.
Using modern technology, such as Artaic’s Tylist™ software and robotic manufacturing, designers are able to input an original image and turn it into a one-of-a-kind custom mosaic mural. To further explore this concept, we’ve taken Sandie’s submitted artwork and uploaded it into Tylist to create the mosaic. We visualized her blossoming flowers as an aesthetic piece of a relaxed environment, so we rendered it onto the walls of a bathroom spa setting.
What do you think? Perhaps you would like to envision your own photography, drawings, or oil paintings in the mosaic medium. Just send your entry our way to have your artwork rendered into mosaic, and maybe be next month’s feature.
Send submissions to Sasha Mulcahey at sasha@artaic.com. Most file formats acceptable, including photography of original artwork.
