“Interlacing Patterns”
Collaborating with RE:site, a group of talented artists, Artaic produced this large exterior mosaic installation called “Interlacing Patterns” using 3/4” vitreous glass tile. This design took inspiration from Sugar Land’s connection to the Brazos River and the complex natural ecosystem found along the banks. The colorful cross sections evoke ornamental design found in various cultural traditions across the world. Interlacing Patterns celebrates Sugar Land as one of the most diverse populations in the nation
