Founder & CEO Travels to China For Robotics Summit
On October 22-30, Ted Acworth, Founder and CEO of Artaic, flew across the world to participate in the 2016 Robotics Summit in China.
Organizing the event were two companies aiming to match businesses with lasting contacts: investors, customers, and even suppliers. The first organizer, InTeaHouse, helps to create human connections through technology and the ancient artistry of sharing tea. The second, MassRobotics, is a nonprofit based in Massachusetts, which “aims to create and scale the next generation of successful robotics companies by providing entrepreneurs with the resources they need to develop, prototype, test, and commercialize their products and solutions.”
InTeaHouse and MassRobotics connected hundreds of companies, Artaic included, for the Robotics Summit and invited those to participate and travel, consecutively, to five different cities (Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhenjiang, and Beijing) across China. Those companies traveling, were given the opportunity to present their businesses for 15-20 minutes and network abroad. The Chinese government was even excited for the summit and worked with organizers to ensure for large audiences at each of the locations.
The summit allowed Artaic to create potential future solutions and opportunities and is excited for the opened possibilities.
