As Design ‘N Gather’s 2017 submission deadline approaches in a week, Artaic is offering more resources to help YOU submit your design(s) with ease. Below is a list of frequently asked questions around the Tylist™ software:

1. How do I download tylist?

First, go to https://designngather.com/register/ and fill out all the required fields.

The website will then lead you to https://designngather.com/2017-las-vegas/competition-resources/. Please download the zip file. Depending on your computer, you’ll want to download the appropriate file type.

The zip file will include:
Your_Artwork_Template.jpg– The template for your input artwork development.

Mosaic_Template.tylist– The template for the mosaic. This includes the mosaic size pre-set, the tile palette and grout palette.

Artaic_Tile_Guide.pdf– Artaic tile specs and the palette of pre-selected tile colors.

Bostik_Grout_Guide.pdf– Bostik DimensionTM RapidCureTM specs and the palette of grout colors available for your design.

TylistGrid_MAC.pkg or TylistGrid_PC.exe – The Artaic mosaic design software.

Click on the Tylist.1.3.0.pkg and follow the instructions listed on the screen. Once you agree to terms and conditions, you will be able to download the software.

2. What size should my source image be?

Your source image should be a perfect square. This means the ratio of your design should be 1:1. Please make sure your pixel size does not exceed 1600 X 1600 pixels!

3.in Tylist, What’s the difference between file >load project and file > new image?

Load project is a mosaic file, which includes tile type, color, and size preset. Select ‘load project’ and upload the Mosaic_Template.tylist file.

A new image refers to your source image. Each project contains a jpeg, which is then transformed into your output image. Once you have the Mosaic_Template.tylist file open, you’ll want to go to file > new image and upload your design.

4. I am having trouble submitting my design. Why is my project file not uploading?

Please note all designs must be submitted as a .tylist file and can’t be more than 20 MB in size.
