THE POSITION
Artaic is growing its successful national sales and marketing organization with creative and responsive sales efforts toward building the direct online channel. As the company significantly expands our focus on direct lead generation for the Residential Market, Artaic is seeking an entrepreneurial Sales and Design Consultant to execute a broad range of sales-oriented functions. This is a unique opportunity to help expand a market segment by helping to build out a new program and lead a relatively new sales channel. This entrepreneurial role works closely with Artaic’s National Account Managers, Project Manager, Marketing Manager, and other Artaic team members. In collaboration with a full-service design team, this position offers design assistance aimed at making the sale, as the rep helps clients determine the best mosaic tile for their project and creative vision. Inspired by the clients’ own designs or Artaic’s unique design collections, we are selling dream kitchens, bathrooms, pools, patios, and more.
The position has primary responsibility for serving members of the residential interior design trade through the small showroom space in the Boston Design Center, for handling sales leads coming in online from both the trade and the homeowners themselves, and for aggressive highly targeted and qualified prospecting efforts.
The position will nurture and close incoming sales leads via phone and website direct inquiry, live chat, digital advertising, and social media. It will also support sales campaign efforts through outbound prospecting of new and existing clients via phone and email.

OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make the mosaic tile buying process easy and enjoyable for clients, including members of the trade (residential and commercial interior designers, architects, builders), and high-end homeowners.
- Manage your own sales pipeline, including the existing book of business and lead funnel, in an incentive-based environment.
- Serve as the primary sales associate for all executive management leads.
- Nurture leads from consideration through purchase. This includes offering design assistance, generating quotes, shipping custom samples, closing the sale, and retaining the client to build a strong network of referral sources.
- Generate new leads with creative use of resources, including collaboration with Marketing.
- Leverage the power of Artaic’s custom CRM solution: Maintaining updated contact and account information for your various segments of clients, prospects, referral sources, and influencers. Engage with existing customers to drive new business, sharing new products and solutions.
- Act as the main point of contact for studio walk-ins, providing excellent client service to trade visitors. Continually refine the studio welcome area and meeting room to deliver a professional and informative sales experience.
- Contribute front-line sales insight and design feedback to the development and management of sales and marketing material, including the online presence.
- Continually support Artaic’s standard for delivering an exceptional client service experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 – 5 years sales or professional work experience desired.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or appropriate level of design industry experience.
- Familiarity with sales, project management, communications, and/or business development.
- Aptitude with Podio or comparable CRM systems, QuickBooks Online, and the full suite of today’s business software tools a plus.
- Lead generation, sales, and market research experience a plus.
- Experience in B2B and B2C Direct Online Sales a plus.
COMPENSATION
$45,000 – $55,000 base salary plus lucrative monthly sales commission.
