THE POSITION
B2B Sales Strategy and Execution
Artaic has an opportunity to support and grow its successful national sales organization with aggressive sales initiatives, a responsive sales focus, and strategic development of rapidly evolving sales channels and markets. We are seeking a creative, self-motivated, Commercial Sales Manager to lead and execute a range of sales activities to handle our growing opportunities across channels. The role works closely with our CEO, President, VP of Sales For National Accounts, Sales and Marketing Manager, and Project Services Team. The ideal candidate would have a strong track record of success as an individual producer in the architectural products Finishes & Furniture industry who can attack a lead funnel, grow a book of business and develop new opportunities. This is a unique position for someone looking to advance their career in a role that provides considerable flexibility for strategic input and business development.
The candidate should have experience selling custom designed products and have contacts in the Architecture and Design specification industry. The role involves developing relationships with commercial designers at architecture and design firms nationally to win project specifications. The candidate must be able to aggressively implement sales strategies that measurably impact revenue in the environment of a fast-growing innovation-oriented company. OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell, manage and develop a book of business across key markets in the U.S. and internationally.
- Personally sell and manage key accounts through product presentations, business development, and a client-centric approach.
- Have exemplary organization and time management skills with the ability to attract and retain new clients while maintaining existing accounts
- Boston-based, with travel as required to drive the biggest market opportunities. Given the shift toward virtual business development, estimating approximately 1-2 market trips per quarter.
- Be a recognizable leader for the company internally and externally by representing and promoting Artaic within the industry including a robust social media presence.
- Mange a lead funnel and CRM centralized sales pipeline through qualification, nurturing and closing of opportunities.
- Carefully balancing your time and resources to allow hunting for new business opportunities each day.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing department to develop and implement tactical direct marketing plans, lead follow-up, collateral, media, programs with appropriate brand positioning, and provide feedback for design collections and enhancements..
- Liaise with Project Services and Production department to ensure timely sample requests, delight the client with renderings, and that projects are delivered to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Develop new partnerships and sales programs to increase company growth.
- Analyze sales team data and present monthly reports and forecasting.
- Work with executive team to set sales strategy of the company, set budgets and goals, and analyze performance.
- Compensation is directly tied to your success in quoting and closing sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years experience in sales in the architectural and design industry or a related field.
- Creative, entrepreneurial, go-getter mentality with an aptitude for modern data-driven sales and marketing techniques.
- Proven ability to manage and scale a sales pipeline and contribute meaningful growth to a sales organization.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal, in-person and virtual).
- Experience physically and virtually presenting sales and marketing collateral, product & process features, and company presentations.
- Experience in the development, sales and/or marketing of custom products.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Exceeding your targets and setting a new standard for initiative, efficiency, and results among your peers
ADDITIONAL DESIRED CREDENTIALS
- Experience in business development, preferably in architectural finishes or furnishings.
- Design savvy and ability to inspire creative vision
- Experience with and commitment to a CRM platform such as HubSpot or Podio CRM, and leveraging IT tools and technology for mobile planning and execution.
- Market research to identify promising segments and specific targets, developing a disciplined and systematic approach to reaching goals.
