Artaic Visits New York’s Annual Boutique Design Trade Show

Come relax on your midcentury couch and kick off those Louboutins because November 13-14th marked this year’s New York Boutique Design (BDNY) Trade Show. We know you have been itching to find out BDNY’s hottest brands and best highlights, so  look no further! Artaic has the scoop on all things BDNY and hospitality design.

Lighting

Lighting fixtures definitely shined the brightest at BDNY this year and we fell in love with all cascading fixtures and individual chandeliers. Here are just a few pics we had to share.

From the looks of it, trending this winter is an industrious theme combined with intriguing geometric shapes. The rustic and industrial inspired hanging lights by Hennepin Made, and the bright green, Austin-like, neon, Marquis sign were our top picks, highlighting the raw beauty and completeness lighting fixtures can bring to any stylish hospitality design.

Flooring and wallcoverings

All the floor and wallcoverings were incredibly beautiful and created endless design possibilities for those passing by. Most of the prints, were jaw-dropping patterns, using tone-on-tone colorways, one pop of color, and an overall contemporary feel.

The carpets from Tai Ping and the water colored-inspired wallcoverings, created by Beth Nicholas and Area Environments (both listed below) , were our favorites. The floor to wall covering created a fabulous immersive experience.
