G2O Spa and Salon

G2O Spa & Salon exhibits a couple Artaic Custom mosaics commissioned by Lucie Beauchemin of Grassi Design Group for the new G2O Spa and Salon located on Boston’s prominent Newbury Street.

The five-story build out will be recognized as Boston’s first LEED certified renovation, highlighted by the new geothermal HVAC system. Artaic was asked to design and fabricate a hand-cut entryway logo mosaic and a larger, framed triptych mosaic for the fifth floor hot tub room.

The G2O logo mosaic, fabricated by Ariel Shoemaker, is elegantly displayed behind a unique waterfall feature as the primary focal point of the salon’s entrance.

Upstairs, Artaic installed three mosaic panels that together render a flowing water design in 3/8″ vitreous glass tile. The salon recently opened its doors to the public, and Artaic is proud to have contributed to the forward-thinking design and amenities that define G2O.
