Larcenia Bullard Plaza
Artaic collaborated with artist Robert McKnight to create three stunning mosaics for the exterior facade of the Larcenia Bullard Plaza in Miami, FL. The mosaics capture the history of the community, while also celebrating the life of Senator Larcenia Bullard.
The first of the mosaics, titled “The Founders Wall”, uses Artaic’s 1/2″ Vitreous Glass to show Senator Larcenia Bullard, who the plaza is named after, as well as various historic landmarks and events in this area of Miami.
The second of the murals, titled “The Gift”, also uses Artaic’s 1/2″ Vitreous Glass. This mosaic features the poem “As If She Knew” by Femi Folami Browne.
The final mosaic sits atop the building and is called “A Crown for Larcenia.” Using our 3/4″ Vitreous Glass, the repeating pattern wraps around the rotunda on the top of the plaza.
