They say it takes about 20-30 years for trends to make a comeback. It’s no surprise then that trends from the 80s and 90s are currently dominating the design world (love me some puffy sleeves but please no 80s haircuts – sorry mom). And while some of these past trends went out of style for a reason, there are a lot of great trends from the past that deserve to make a comeback.

Enter the reemergence of pixel art. This trend was hugely popular starting in the 80s with the creation of video games – think classic arcade games like Pac-man.
