Arts on the Block – Chase

Artaic partnered with Arts on the Block to create this bright public art piece for Chase Bank in Potomac, Maryland. Arts on the Block is an incredible program that gives creative youth and emerging artists the opportunity to learn first hand about art, design, and business by creating community and public art pieces. The collaboration allowed Artaic to bring its innovative technology to Arts on the Block and show how the ancient medium of mosaics can be implemented in modern times.

The mosaics themselves were inspired by a design created by one of Arts of the Block studio members, Jadyn Covington, and displays Cabin John Creek and the coneflowers that can be found in this area of Maryland. The hand-cut portions of the mosaic were done by some of the Arts on the Block crew members themselves.
