Bostik and Artaic Will Be Hosting Design Workshop
Bostik Inc. and Artaic Innovative Mosaic will be staging a Design Workshop Thursday, March 23rd, at Manhattan’s Microsoft Store, 677 Fifth Avenue, from 6–9 pm.
“Together, Bostik and our strategic partner, Artaic, are on a mission,” states Scott Banda, Bostik’s director of marketing and business development. “We want to bring the art of mosaic design into the 21st century. So, we’re inviting architects, designers and mosaic enthusiasts to learn about creating masterpiece-quality mosaic designs using proprietary robots and high-performance grout.”
The evening event will feature a hands-on tutorial focused on how to utilize Artaic’s software, Tylist, which actually drives robots to assemble mosaic. Additionally, attendees will also learn about the bene ts offered by Bostik’s proprietary Dimension RapidCure grout that is specified by Artaic for the aesthetic appearance it brings to any tile installation. From there, right at the event, there will be a design competition using both of these products, in which all attendees will be asked to join. The winner will be awarded a Microsoft Surface Pro Tablet.
“We staged a similar workshop in Boston a few months ago,” adds Dr. Ted Acworth, CEO/Founder of Artaic. “The response to that event was outstanding. Our goal for this upcoming Manhattan experience is threefold. We want it to be educational/relevant for all attendees; we want it to stimulate their interest in mosaic design; and we want it to be a time enjoyed by all!”
Following the scheduled workshop/presentations, cocktails and hors-d’oeuvres will be served nearby, and all attendees will be invited to attend this as well.
